Meeting the basic nutritional and educational requirements of children in need:

 

Hundreds of children don't have enough food over the weekends  to meet their basic nutritional needs. As a result, they suffer during the school week. We provide food to under-privileged kids over the weekends to help them be better prepared for the demands of school.

 

Granting wishes to children with terminal illnesses:

 

Terminally ill children have very little to look forward to. Granting a wish gives them something to look forward to and brings joy and happiness to their lives.

 

Thanks to you, Needs-n-Dreams is able to make these miracle wishes really special. We find that fulfilling wishes are among the most rewarding experiences both for the child and everybody involved. Scheduling permitted, organizations and celebrities gratefully donate their time to make it happen.

Easing the transitional burdens of critically ill children faced with extended hospital stays:

 

Making the transition from normal life to hospital life can be very traumatic. We have found that the child's needs in the hospital are far above what the hospital is able to provide.

 

Needs-n-Dreams strives to facilitate this transition through providing, Extended Stay Comfort Kits containing everything from shampoo/conditioner, tissues, combs/brushes to lip balm and tooth paste/brush.

 

In addition, the kits contain snacks, gift cards, bootie socks, a pillow, blanket, body wash and body wash puff.

 

We also recognize the needs of the parents 

 

We supply a Parent Kit containing: sticky notes, thank you notes, pads, highlighters, room meal card, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, laundry bags, and a Parent Q&A addressing questions and listing resources for all kinds of hospital and care related issues.

 

Another service we provide on request is our Media Package.
