Making a wish happen is huge in a child's life. When there isn’t a
cure, there is still something positive in their lives to look forward to...
— Dr. James Colbert, Children’s Medical Center
Four Steps to grant a wish
Step 1: Referral
Step 3: Finding your wish
We depend on referrals from medical professionals, parents and children themselves. Children above the age of 2½ and under the age of 16 at the time of referral who have not received a wish from another wish-granting organization may be eligible for a wish.
We visit with the child and try to determine what wish they have that will inspire and thrill them.
Step 4: Making it happen
Step 2: Eligibility
We determine eligibility with the help of the treating physician. To receive a wish, the child must be diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition.
We do our best to over deliver on the child's wish. We capitalize on their creativity and the ideas of all involved to make this an unforgettable experience.
